Got a question?  See if your answer is here at our FAQ page.

This marks the end of a significant planning phase for the reunion committee. We had to lock down the schedule, secure quotes and contracts from the vendors, and determine a fair and reasonable price.

Page one of the registration page has lots of text (arguably too much), but please take the time to read it through.

Our pricing is based on finding the middle ground between holding an event that will be appropriate for our once-every-5-years gathering while avoiding extravagance.  What's most important to us is that you have an experience where the only thing you need to worry about is showing up.  We take care of everything so that you can spend all of your time catching up with friends and classmates - some of whom you haven't seen since May 31, 1989.

Important financial info:

  1. The class needs to charge enough to cover all our costs, simply because the class cannot assume the risk of a negative balance.  Conversely - unlike other classes - raising money for the class fund is not a specific reunion objective of ours.
  2. We are charging a lower registration fee than is typical for comparable reunions, simply because we have had higher attendance than other classes near our age.  So, as long as we blow the doors off with our attendance as we have before, we will be able to cover our budgeted costs.
  3. There are big fixed costs associated with holding an event like this, especially the tailgater on Saturday.  Your registration fees are designed to help us cover these.

We feel pretty good about our plan, and we'll feel even better when we get registrations going quickly!  There are some bills due in the next few weeks and after that contracts will become final.

What's Happening Next? We'll start the “attention to detail” phase over the next few days. We have some placeholders that need to be completed and probable additions to the schedule of events.  Stay tuned for requests for help for elections, the memorial, company reps, etc.

If you have questions or comments about the registration do not hesitate to contact our reunion chairman, Chris Owens, directly. Thanks!
